What is Amenti?

Amenti, or, The Halls Of Amenti rather, is a place hidden from our very eyes in Egypt. Right in the middle of the highest and lowest dimensions. Some say It is hidden underneath the Sphinx.

Long explanation short. Think of it as a more positive form of purgatory. Where you go to reflect on your past lives, learning lessons essential for growth in your next live(s).

Cool huh!?

We strive to be that place of Transformation for you :)

Do you sell art or other fun items on the website?

We do! We have all of our art listed in our online Art Gallery. Wood Slices, Stickers, Prints and more!

Are touch ups free?

Only the FIRST touch up is free. And you must get the touch up within 3 months of getting your tattoo. We do everything in our power to make sure you walk out of our shop with a badass tattoo. Is your ink vegan?

It Is! Vegan, and hypoallergenic.

When can I swim/tan?

When your tattoo is completely healed. Tattoos generally take 2 weeks to heal. But as long as that last layer of skin has come off, you’re fine. However. Being in the sun for extended periods, and excessive tanning will cause fading in your tattoo. To help alleviate some of the fading, I highly recommend sunscreen.

Do tattoos hurt?

In short. Yes. It is going to hurt a little. It’s a good 1-4 hours of skin abrasion. But pain is mental, your mind is surprising strong. So put it to the test, You’ve got this!

Do I really have to wear a face mask?

If it makes you feel comfortable! They are no longer required :)

Do you take Venmo or CashApp payments?

Just for tattoo deposits. We do Cash transactions for tattoos.

How long will my tattoo take to heal?

Tattoos generally take about 2 weeks to heal! But allow for 2 1/2 weeks in some cases.

How much is my tattoo going to cost?

That depends on your tattoo! If you are getting a smaller tattoo that will take roughly a half and hour or so (which is at the discretion of the artist)

it will fall under the shop minimum category. Which is $80.

For larger pieces, we charge an hourly rate of $150/hour.

Should I get a tattoo if I’m sick, or not feeling well?

No. Tattoos compromise your immune system. So if you already have a compromised immune system, it will not make it any better. In fact it may make it worse. And also to protect your artist from getting sick (common courtesy, right?) we would much rather you reschedule to a time when you are feeling healthy again.

Can I shave with a fresh tattoo?

Nope! Please don’t do that. Trust us. Just wait until your tattoo is completely healed.

Will my tattoo fade?

Most likely. All tattoos fade over time. Color tattoos do tend to fade a bit quicker than black and grey tattoos. Due to the molecular structure of the ink, our bodies tend to process(absorb) the colored inks faster than black.

Do you do Henna?

We do not. Sorry!

Your tattoo is a wound before it's a masterpiece. How you treat it in the first week determines how it looks for the rest of your life

Which method will I be wrapped with?

We use Derm Shield (a multi-day breathable wrap) for most pieces. For smaller or less detailed work — or if you have adhesive allergies or prefer the traditional method — we'll go with the classic wrap instead. Your artist will let you know which applies to you.

Derm Shield — Multi-Day Wrap

Leave the wrap on for 5–7 days. Don't lift it, don't pick at it. Don’t take it off early!

When it's time to remove it, do it in the shower under warm running water, peeling downward slowly.

Once it's off — wash the tattoo thoroughly (hands only, no rags or loofahs) with antibacterial soap until that slippery plasma layer is completely gone. This is the most important step. Don't rush it. But be gentle

Pat dry with a clean paper towel or let it air dry.

For the next 2–3 days, keep it as dry as possible. If you notice plasma surfacing, wash it immediately — plasma drying on the skin causes scabbing and potential color loss.

After 2–3 days, you can begin applying a thin layer of unscented lotion or coconut oil once or twice a day.

Traditional Method

Leave the temporary wrap on for 1–2 hours, then remove it with clean hands in a clean space.

Wash the tattoo with antibacterial hand soap (hands only, no rags or loofahs) and warm water for 2–3 minutes. Do this twice a day for the first 3 days.

Pat dry with a clean paper towel or air dry.

Hold off on lotion for the first 2–3 days. Once it starts to itch, you can apply a thin layer of unscented lotion 2–3 times a day for about 5 days.

Don't oversaturate it — too much lotion is just as damaging as too little.

What lotion should I use?

Unscented lotion or coconut oil only. Keep a designated bottle for tattoo healing — don't double dip with your everyday moisturizer.

What about touch ups?

Your first touch up is free within 3 months of your appointment. After that, touch ups are charged at $100/hour.

Take care of your work and you likely won't need one.
